Lichtspiele Kalk is a single-screen neighbourhood cinema on Kalk-Mülheimer Straße, on the right bank of the Rhine. Its programme combines new releases with film series and specials, such as the Cinemania Kalk classics strand, plus a children's and youth programme.
Its own listings label OmU (original language with German subtitles), OV (original language, no subtitles) and DF (German dub). It also highlights screenings with English subtitles, which are often of films in another language. English subtitles do not mean English audio; our listings here are for English-audio screenings.
The cinema lists Kalk Post and Kalk Kapelle (lines 1 and 9) and Trimbornstraße S-Bahn station for getting there; its directions page also covers parking at the Köln Arcaden. The auditorium has 95 seats and no steps, with a ground-level main entrance, an accessible toilet on the ground floor and wheelchair space mainly in the back row; there is no accessible parking space.
